- Paper published in the IEEE Signal Processing Letters, entitled ‘Forensic Face Photo-Sketch Recognition Using a Deep Learning-Based Architecture‘, which describes a new method for face photo-sketch recognition. The paper describes a deep learning-based framework that is also fused with the LGMS method (the latter utilising engineered features). Comparison with state-of-the-art methods shows that the proposed deep learning-based approach and its fusion with LGMS exceed the performance of state-of-the-art methods on viewed hand-drawn sketches and real-world forensic sketches.
